π£ SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS πΏπ¦
I am not sure how anyone else is feeling about this month so far, but this is certainly not what I had in mind π
I don't think there was any planning for the chaos of the last few weeks. I am grateful that we seem to be through the worst of it, although there are still many places that have not had electricity or water restored, not to mention the damage to homes and buildings. The loss can be felt in every conversation.
The upside is always the community pulling together. Even just in our little Village, everyone went out of their way to help and support each other. Our dams are also looking much better so that is certainly a silver lining βοΈ
Speaking for myself, I have only had a handful of days this month where I had electricity and water, at home or at the shop. It has felt a bit like a bad episode of Survivor that I didn't want to participate in π
Unfortunately this means that production has come to a dead halt, and my shelves and stock levels are looking less than optimal π Please bear with me as it will take some time to catch up π
On a final note, please try to Support Local Businesses as far as possible. It is infinitely harder for us to recover from these experiences than the large corporate chain stores.
Thank you as always, to everyone who took the time to check in with me and the cats, and who continue to support my candy addiction π
Take care and stay safe all π€
