- Welkom Board & Timber is the only specialist supplier of premium quality boards and associated products for the woodwork industry in the greater Goldfields Area.
- Our Beam Saw offers state-of-the-art precision cutting. No other company in Welkom has a similar Machine that can offer the same quality. Other companies use either a table saw or hand operated saws. Our boards do not chip and there are no rough edges after cutting on either side.
- Our Edge Ba**er is also a state-of-the-art machine, with no similar machine in the Welkom Area. We can do corner round edging, which no other company in Welkom offers. Pre-milling is done automatically by the machine that ensures a 100% glue to edging application. The machine also automatically removes excess glue, so the edged boards do not have any unsightly marks or sticky surfaces
- We use only superior quality edging and 100% pure glue with no filler agents, for the edging of the boards; no other company in Welkom offers the same. We source our Edging from the best premium suppliers of edging. Beware of imitations which break-off and peel easily once glued to the board edges.
- We have a range of quality Hardware at affordable costing which makes it convenient for the client to buy all their wood and associated products in one place.
- We offer cutting and edging to clients with their own boards and offcuts at minimal charges.
- We offer low-cost transport to clients who cannot collect their orders. These orders are delivered directly to the door of the client.
- We cut and sell boards to the client’s requirements. Clients do not have to buy an entire board if they require only a half board.
- We also have a wide range of quality Cornices for clients to choose from. Our prices are extremely competitive and comparable with any other relevant company in the Welkom area.
- We usually offer same day off-cut board cutting and edging, however this is production workload dependent.
- Smaller orders can be ready for a client within a 24hr period (3 Full boards or less). For bigger orders our lead time is 48hours however this is also production workload dependent.
- We operate fully on a Saturday from 7:30 am until 12pm for client convenience.
- Our showroom has an extensive range of products which can viewed, and the texture felt by clients.
- We have a very large stockholding (largest in Welkom) for all wooden boards therefore there is very little or no chance for any of our products being out of stock.
- We are very proud of our kitchen cabinets and cupboards display in our showroom which shows the clients how their finished product could look.
