So carefully follow this video to practice your DHHK (double half hitch knot) from left to right as well as from right to left.

I've added a few little tricks to help your fingers comfortably find their way around the ropes. So pause, rewind and watch it again.

This knot has so many names, but my favourite is when students call it the DNA knot.
Spiral half knot, twisted spiral sinnet, all of the above are names for this simple knot that creates the most amazing spiral.
:

The key is to let the knot spiral on its own, follow the hand gestures in the video, lol to see if you understand what I mean.
:
The 2 working chords you use can be swopped from left hand to right hand as the knot twists.
