Nicole has a soft spot for the natural world, especially its smaller, greener residents. Outside of helping clients find the right trees, she's known as a frog enthusiast, fascinated by the incredible ecosystems they call home. It's fitting that her favourite tree is the Taxodium distichum (Bald Cypress). With its towering form, richly textured bark, and roots that gently rise from the water, it feels like a tree straight out of a storybook.

You don't really walk past a Coral Tree without looking twice. Even before the flowers arrive, its sculptural branches and distinctive form give it a personality all of its own. This mature Coral Tree recently made its journey to Paarl, where it now stands ready for another season of growth. Like any well-travelled tree, it'll take a little time to settle in, but before long it will be doing what Coral Trees do best – putting on a spectacular display and becoming part of the view.
