After three days of the Pondo Trail Run, the Sealand Sisters have crossed the finish line… in 1st place! 🥇

For the first time in the Pondo Trail Run’s history, a women’s team has won the race! What an epic few days it has been, running for the protection of Pondoland and its communities, we are so proud to be a part of it. An extended thanks to everybody who donated towards this cause as well.

Day 2 at the Pondo, and what a day it was!

What’s a trail run along the Pondoland coastline without some sightseeing of the famous Bessie’s Cave and Waterfall Bluff?

Upon arrival, each team brought donations for the Gift of Warmth Initiative, underscoring the positive impact we can create in our communities when we come together in support of others.

From the sandy beach up into the grassy hills, the Sealand Sisters absolutely smashed day 1 of the Pondo Trail Run coming in at 2nd place!

The landscapes explored on were absolutely breathtaking and remind us of why we’re here. Protecting these precious coastlines and the communities who rely on it.

Looking back on last year’s run, we cannot wait to be back on the landscapes of one of the last natural coastlines in South Africa.

Each year, we run to raise funds to protect these incredible areas and the communities within them.
