Creating a simple skincare routine for dry skin .
1. Cleanse: When it comes to balancing dry skin a cream , milk or oil cleanser is the best way to go . These cleansers will infuse your skin with moisture as it is cleaning the surface of your skin . This sets the base to help lock in moisture throughout the rest of your routine .
Recommended Cleanser : Pro-glow milk, morrocan Soap, Jam soap or Extreme glow black Soap.
2. Exfoliate Don't skip this part in your routine ! This is important for helping remove dead skin cells for better product absorption and gives the skin a more radiant appearance . It is recommended for dry skin types to exfoliate 2-3 times per week using a gentle exfoliant .
Recommended Exfoliants : Satin Skin Mixed fruit Scrub
3. Facial Oil If you truly want to feel a difference in your skin , I would highly recommend adding a facial oil to your routine . A facial oil provides dry skin with the rich moisture it needs and because of its liquid form , it is carried deeper in the skin to lock in moisture . But don't be too quick to grab your coconut oil ...... when looking for a good facial oil , as it's not so safe for the face .
Recommended Facial Oils : velvet milk drops, whitening Oil
4. Moisturize When choosing a moisturizer for dry skin , opt on the heavier side rather than light . Your skin needs that extra nourishment that a rich moisturizer provides .
Recommended Moisturizers : Glutathione white body lotion, Velvet Milk body Lotion
5. SPF Finish off your skincare routine with sun protection ! In general most sunscreens are pretty lightweight , making them great for layering overtop of your moisturizer . Day face Spf 50
