So the year started with a (nice) bang..Thanks to all those who dropped in, browse,bought and became friends !
It was our first season and we did not know quite what to expect, But what a a pleasant surprise ! I always knew readers are special people , but have to admit that I was again surprised !
Our novel section did very well over the season , and so did our more "serious" books.
For the first time since acquiring the shop , there was a bit of time to really work through our "old" stock...and what a surprise!
Lots of very nice collectibles were discovered and the next step now is a re-arranging of our history section.
Watch this space..or better still, come in and see for yourself !

We went on a shopping expeditionn..and was too exited to unpack only in the morning ! These books will be on the shelves...
