Sorry for the delayed post EBass Roodekoppies stop went a bit bumpy for us 😔 and I had to leave straight for the coast.

The practice plan went out the window quick with a drop in water level and horrible wind direction. We scrambled for adjustments but ended a fish short and 12th place.

At least I pulled out the big fish for the comp at 2.65kg 🐖 on a Texas rig craw.

Setup was my Okuma Fishing Africa Helios 7,4 H with Shimano Fishing SA SLX DC 150 HG on Sunline Sniper 16lb on a 5/8oz Biggenbass Tungsten Texas rig.

This holiday I got an exciting session in trying the Tal-Tec Brits aluminum boat! 🛥️ It's been a while since I was excited at the prospects of a platform😏

It ticks so many boxes:
1. Light easy tow (It goes where the bakkie goes)
2. Easy launch (2 if us dropped it in the farm dam)
3. Super Stable and Buoyant
4. Tons of storage with rod lockers
5. Ample battery space for small craft applications
6. Solid transom for plug and play outboards
7. Durable Hull and finishing

Honestly the list goes on but what it translates into is a highly advantageous platform with multiple applications 👌 You will catch some fish which I happily did with my daughter for a great day!

I can't wait to see what variations will come off this prototype... 👀
