Platycerium madagascariense growing in vitro.

Growing ferns from spores is really fascinating !! I am very excited to share the final results when these are ready to be sent out to the owners.

Nepenthes lowii x truncata with some exudate on the lid.
Exudate is a sweet nectar that some species produce to attract various insects and mammals to the pitcher to potentially catch prey.

Ligularia aureomaculata is being subcultured after being on multiplication media for a few weeks.
Some of these will go back on multiplication media and some will go on root induction media from where they will be ready to be hardened in the greenhouse.
