Tshwane Coin co.

My father and I collected South African and world coins for the past 30 years. Our business is run from both towns, Pretoria/Tshwane in Gauteng, and Middelburg Mpumalanga. Desmond is a retiree from the SADF/SANDF and thus we also have a vast knowledge in Military items. We mainly trade in Zuid Afrikaansche Rupubliek , Union of South Africa and Republic of South Africa coins and banknotes. Grading

-- We base our grading primarily on surface quality and condition, centering, style, and rarity. We believe the surface quality and centering are primary to grading ancients, while the style is subjective to some degree. If there is any Verdigris (Green stuff) on the coin, or other major issues like large scratches, chips, cracks, corrosion, we make a note of it on the listing. We also grade according to precious metal and rare dates. In photography, we aim to provide an accurate representation of the coin; as it would appear in person. All monitors are slightly different, and each coin (especially darker coins) have their own challenges w/respect to photography. In general, our goal is to provide the customer with accurate pictures. We are a family owned Company and continue to grow, our main objectives is to enjoy the hobby of Numismatics and learn day by day.
