Winter Saturdays at My Car Boot Sale = slow mornings + warm people ☕🧣

It’s cold outside. 6°C, mist over SoM Park, and your breath hangs in the air.
But at 7:30am the boots start popping open anyway.

That’s the thing about winter at My Car Boot Sale — it hits different.

What it feels like:
The set-up: Sellers in beanies and scarves, steaming coffee in one hand, unpacking a box of vintage glassware with the other. No rush. Just chat, laughter, and “julle ook hier?”
The hunt: You wander between boots with your hands tucked in your pockets, discovering wool blankets, enamel mugs that are perfect for hot chocolate, old vinyl to put on while it rains, and kids’ toys that’ll get a second life.
The community: Everyone here gets it. We care about keeping good stuff out of landfill. We’d rather buy a solid wooden chair from 1985 than a wobbly one from a flatpack. We swap stories with the seller about where that lamp came from, and leave feeling like we’ve met a neighbour, not just made a purchase.
