Wing on a stick.

After a flash of insight, I came up with a solution for the structurally challenging wingtips of the JS3. After some clever CNC machining programming, I succeeded and verified that I can use my programming for complete, advanced wings.

I'm pursuing multiple paths to completing this model and right now a traditional balsa and ply structure that I'm experienced with seems to be the best.

I've given some thought as to what I want to do with this page.

Initially I wanted to start offering kits of my designs but there's been mixed demand for what I've created and along with sporadic availability of certain balsa wood sections like trailing edges etc, it's not really worth pushing kits of my designs. It's too much work for too little reward.

What I instead want to focus on is concept design for other manufacturers to pick up on and develop into their own products.
If one of my designs appeals to someone who wants to develop it into their own, they're welcome to.

Prototyping a correx / Isoboard Swift for the slopes. If I get this right I think it will be a winner.

It doesn't look like much but it's progress. The left bottom half of the JS3 wing is done. Each wing has an inboard and outboard panel. One of the design criteria for this model is that it needs to fit in the car comfortably.

I've done a 3.5m ASW 17 of surface geometry. Its available on CG Trader for $18 in multiple file formats. You're free to do whatever you want with it. Make molds, modify for 3D printing. Go to town with it.
