🧵Let’s talk about the GUT of the bag… the lining. 🧵
When choosing a bag, we often look at the denim, the stitching, the shape, the straps and the zip.
But what about what’s happening inside?
The lining is where the personality of a bag can really come alive.
And there are so many questions to consider:
🩵 What colour?
Bright and playful? Soft and subtle? Something that picks up a colour from the outside?
🩵 Print or plain?
A beautiful floral, a quirky pattern, stripes… or perhaps a simple solid colour that lets the denim do the talking?
🩵 Thick or thin?
The weight and feel of the fabric can make a difference to how the bag feels and wears.
🩵 Light or dark?
A light lining makes it easier to find everything hiding at the bottom of your bag, while a darker lining can be a little more forgiving.
So, when you look at one of my bags, don't just look at the outside. Open it. Have a peek inside.
Because sometimes the best part is hiding in there. 😉
After all, the lining isn't just the inside of the bag. It's the GUT of the bag. 🩵
