We are so incredibly proud of Siphosihle Lucas!! Spha (as we all know him), has once again been selected to represent Eden Cycling in the Under-17 category at the upcoming Western Cape Mountain Bike Championships this weekend!🤩👏

We wish him the very best! He will compete against some of the province’s top young cyclists. We know he will represent Eden and his school Van Reede with excellence.

Eden Cycling is proud to present the 2026 SA Youth Road, Criterium & Time Trial Championships, bringing together the country’s top young talent for a weekend of racing, grit, and unforgettable moments.

• Road Race

Hosted by Eden Cycling, supported by Western Cape Cycling and Cycling South Africa, this championship is more than racing, it’s about developing the next generation of riders, building opportunity, and growing the future of cycling in South Africa.

From the youngest categories to the strongest youth riders in the country, every rider arrives with a dream, a number board, and the determination to leave everything out on the road.
