How stunning is this double photo frame created by Lorraine Haddath! It's almost like this collection was designed to perfectly match these photos of her daughter on her way to a local function! Instead of a layout she created a double photo frame from chipboard with hinges so it can be displayed on a table/shelf using two sheets of HEIRLOOM MAUVE for the backgrounds. Cut strips from KEEPSAKES for the frames and mounted the photos with HEARTFELT CELEBRATION and VINTAGE TREASURES, sentiments from the Gilded Sentiment sheet & fussy cuts from VINTAGE TREASURES. To finish, she added a little bling in the form of flat back pearls and silver thread.

Denise van Deventer created this layout of her son and his grandparents on his Matric Dance day, to commemorate this “Simply Gorgeous Day”. She used fussy cut pieces and frame stickers to create the base for the photo. She also created a little brown frame around the photo, to make it pop against the background. She used the chipboard doily under the photo and coloured and heat embossed this with Shabby Shutters embossing powder. She added stencilling around the fussy cut pieces and clusters and lastly added the foiled word stickers, dot stickers and butterflies.

Mare-Liez Oosthuizen loves the diversity of the AURELIA BLOOM collection which is perfect to create a grungy background, contrasted by beautiful floral clusters. Add a bit of stamping and stencil work, and you have the perfect background for any photograph!

Trim the RUSTIC ELEGANCE to measure 11,5” x 11,5”. Fussy cut two floral clusters from the GRACEFULLY WILD, as well as two washi tape strips from the WILD PETALS. Use a pencil to draw a pattern through a large stencil on the background. Colour the pattern with Dylusions Shimmer Spray (Dirty Martini), using a paintbrush. Stamp the background with black Stazon Ink, using a number stamp / similar and a smaller text stamp. Adhere your photo, the fussy cut elements and an acrylic sentiment to the layout. Use the same Shimmer Spray ink as before to create ink splatters across the background. Add butterfly stickers and a few red brads to the layout, then mat it on a black background. I have used the SIMPLIFIED paper from a previous Penelope Dee collection called “Simple Life”.
