Thanks to an anonymous donor ❤️there are rakes provided at most single track sections at Concordia trails , use them as you walk along and leave at end of section as someone else can use them in the other direction 👌

A truly remarkable weekend for South Africa’s Alan Hatherly! The Cannondale Factory Racing ace won his first ever UCI XCO Elite Men’s World Cup at Les Gets on Sunday. This follows his victory in the Short Track race on Friday. He now also leads the 2024 UCI XCO World Cup Series. Hatherly is only the second South African to win a UCI XCO World Cup race. The late Burry Stander won two during his short career.

South Africa’s Candice Lill continues her inspirational rise after claiming a career-best second place in the Elite women’s XCO World Cup race at Les Gets on Sunday! Racing as a privateer, funded by several South African companies, Lill has now beaten most of the world’s best racers and is certainly a medal contender for the Olympic Games on Sunday, 28 July. 🇿🇦👊

One of the awesome things about riding is that we get to head out into the woods every week and act like children, smashing in puddles and riding our bikes around.

I remember as a child getting home from school and jumping straight on my bike and out the door to go mess around with my mates.

The moment I put in that first pedal stroke I was free. I could go wherever my legs would take me and any of the stresses of the day disappeared.

It’s ironic that decades later, we still use riding to escape the day. To feel free. To go adventure. To go have fun.

Growing old is something we are hopefully all lucky enough to do.

Growing up however? That’s totally optional. I have ZERO intention of ever growing up...
