We can post, or we can arrange to meet somewhere for you to collect your books.

We have finally closed our doors, a little earlier than anticipated.

Please send us an email using the contact form if you would like to be emailed when we have opened a new shop

Thank you to all our loyal customers who have supported us throughout the last 23 years. We'll let you know as soon as we have found new premises.

If you haven't been to visit us recently, we were given terrible news at the beginning of October: the building we are in is to be demolished and all tenants were given notice to leave by the end of December 2015.
We are looking for new premises but haven't found anything suitable yet.
In the meantime we are having a half-price sale, everything in the shop is half price so come in and pick up some books before they are all gone.
We will keep you informed via this page as to when we will be able to reopen and where

The Sun and the Moon: The Remarkable True Account of Hoaxers, Showmen, Dueling Journalists, and Lunar Man-Bats in Nineteenth-Century New York by Matthew Goodman in Hardcover R95-00
On August 26, 1835, a fledgling newspaper called the Sun brought to New York the first accounts of remarkable lunar discoveries. A series of six articles reported the existence of life on the moon—including unicorns, beavers that walked on their hind legs, and four-foot-tall flying man-bats. In a matter of weeks it was the most broadly circulated newspaper story of the era, and the Sun, a working-class upstart, became the most widely read paper in the world.
