🛼 WHY DO SKATERS USE JAM PLUGS? 🛼
Jam plugs might be small, but they can make a big difference to the way your skates feel.
Unlike toe stops, jam plugs sit flush against your plate, giving you more freedom to move without catching the floor during footwork, spins and transitions. This position protects your plates from damage allowing you to push the move even more!
At Origin we have jam plugs for plates with bolt on and screw in toe stops, so you can upgrade your Impalas and your Chaya plates!
✨ Benefits of Jam Plugs:
💜 More freedom for dance and rhythm skating
💜 Easier spins, pivots and footwork
💜 Reduced chance of catching a toe stop during tricks
💜 Lighter than traditional toe stops
💜 Protects your toe stop housing when toe stops aren't needed
Jam plugs are especially popular with:
🛼 Jam skaters
🛼 Rhythm skaters
🛼 Dance skaters
🛼 Artistic skaters
⚠️ Remember: Jam plugs are NOT a replacement for stopping/braking. If you still rely on your toe stops to stop, slow down or recover your balance, it's best to keep your toe stops installed (otherwise.... you may need a mouth guard).
The best setup is the one that matches your skating style.
