What people don’t see is the amount of things quietly breaking in the background while you try build something consistent.

Roasting coffee is unforgiving.
Customers are honest.
Machines fail.
Power disappears.
And every single batch asks for your attention.

Starting a roastery in Hoedspruit made it even more interesting. Because the bush doesn’t really care about your business plan. Humidity changes your coffee. Floods change your delivery schedule. Elephants occasionally become traffic.

But maybe that’s also why we LOVE it.

The bush teaches patience. Coffee does too.

And somewhere between early morning roasts and safari flask refills, we have become what we are today.

A little WILDER.
And DEEPLY obsessed with good coffee.
