🚧 Exciting Changes Ahead at Peppergrove Mall 🚧

Major improvements are coming to Peppergrove Mall over the next 18 months, with several exciting upgrades planned for the western side of the centre. Don't worry, we'll keep you informed as each phase gets underway.

🔨 Phase 1 Starts Tomorrow

Boldline Construction will begin the first of four construction phases. This phase includes the conversion of the former fish & chips shop into a new Old Khaki store, along with associated upgrades to the surrounding area and parking layout.

🚧 What Will Be Closed?
• The area marked in blue on the attached map will be closed from tomorrow.
• The construction zone will be fenced off and screened with netting/shade cloth.
• Existing paving and concrete surfaces in that area will be removed to make way for the new development.
• Safety signage and barriers will be in place throughout the project.

🚗 Traffic & Access Changes
• The normal route through the mall past Pick n Pay, Telkom and MTN will remain open and accessible as usual.
• Motorists travelling past We Buy Cars and Standard Bank will be affected.
• Traffic in that section will be required to follow the route marked in green on the attached map.
• Vehicles will be able to exit via the roadway between Home Industries and Cape Union Mart, but will not be able to continue back through the affected construction area.

⚠️ Please pay attention to all temporary signage and follow the indicated traffic routes while work is in progress.

🚧 Traffic Delays at Peppergrove Mall – Saturday, 16 May to Friday, 22 May (Weather Permitting) 🚧

Boldline Construction has been hard at work replacing concrete driveway panels at Peppergrove Mall. While there have only been minor disruptions so far, traffic flow around the mall will be significantly affected from tomorrow through next Friday as work moves to the main exit area.

⚠️ Important Traffic Changes:
• The main Peppergrove Mall exit will be closed from Saturday, 16 May until Friday, 22 May.
• During this period, all traffic exiting that side of the mall must use the KFC exit.
• Vehicles coming from the Pick n Pay side (over the speed hump past MTN) will not be able to exit straight ahead.
• Flagsmen will redirect traffic left, past Wimpy and Pep, towards the KFC exit.

🔄 Temporary Change to Traffic Flow:
The usual traffic route around the Pep / Wimpy / FNB side of the mall will be adjusted for the duration of the work. Motorists are urged to follow all signage, flagmen, and the green arrows on the attached map.

🔧 What work is being done:
The existing concrete roadway at the main exit will be broken up and replaced with new concrete panels.

🕒 Work Schedule (weather permitting)
• Saturday: 07:30 – 14:00
• Sunday: No team on site, but the broken concrete at the main exit will still make this exit inaccessible
• Monday – Friday: 07:30 – 17:00

Please allow extra travel time, remain patient, and drive carefully in the area while this important upgrade is completed.
