I had not used bait in a few months, but so strange...as soon as a put my favorite grunter bait on my 1/0 circle hook and throw it into a crazy huge surgy sea, then low and behold, I catch my favorite estuary fish off the rocks...now that is a first for me.

This must be the only fish that I would rather not catch .. but released safely to go bother someone else.

Unfortunately, during the crazy battle the fish absolutely obliterated the lure he had rigged, however after asking to show me what he managed to entice this beautiful specimen on I was not surprised that it was caught on a Paddletail.

asked me to design a 4" Paddletail for him, as he believed this lure will slay the fish just as the Bumpshad does - 🐟

Well he was not wrong - what a amazing catch from the kayak..incredible fish.

If you want some of these awesome plastics, give the man a shout..he will post anywhere!!

My very first Bartail Flathead that I caught on my Mad Catch Mermaids Tail..6 inch.

They actually box quiet hard on my 7" Assassin and Shimano Stradic 3000.

This being my new place of residence, I hope for some more catches in the Swartkops River.

All new for me, faster moving water and much cleaner..i have much to learn.
