Hey guys

This past weekend was a bit of a grey one! I tried my best to be productive. Thought I was going to complete our Christmas tree in the shop but I failed to do so :( I will post up a pic once it is ready and complete :)

I also attempted to photograph a whole bunch of our exciting products for our website but the lighting was horrific! Sunny days and natural light go along way when photographing things :)

Anyway I am hoping this week is full of abundance and productivity!

Hi Everyone! Welcome to Marrakesh Gift Shop!

Marrakesh, known as the “Jewel of the South” is a colourful medieval city in Western Morocco. It’s full of palaces, gardens and mazelike alleys where thriving souks sell textiles, pottery and jewellery.

I was inspired by Marrakesh , the city itself. Although I have never had the opportunity to travel to this beautiful place, I am intrigued by all the incredible handmade goods, the artistry, the bustling souks (marketplaces). I am amazed by the rich colours and flavours the city has to offer.

I’d like to think I’ve created a little gem in Durban. The concept of our store is to produce handmade, unique items in South Africa that have that extra special touch.
Items that make you go WOW!

We stock handmade soaps, hand painted shopper bags, gift cards and bookmarks embedded with seeds, premium beach jewellery, potted succulents, antique sari cushions. The list goes on….
