💥Let’s get to know about Leopard Geckos💥

The leopard geckos are popular for beginners because they are easy to handle and requires minimal care compared to many other lizards.

➡️9 Facts about Leopard Geckos:

🦎Their life expectancy is 20 or more years in captivity
🦎Adults grow up to 20cm to 25cm including tail
🦎They are not prone to biting and are usually slow-moving
🦎If you see your gecko rattle the tip of its tail rapidly, that means your leopard gecko is excited to eat or to mate
🦎They are cold blooded
🦎Being nocturnal, leopard geckos are most active at night and do not require a lot of UV lighting
🦎Leopard geckos are insectivores. Their diets consist of a variety of crickets, waxworms and in moderation, mealworms
🦎Always have a shallow dish of fresh water for your leopard gecko
🦎Adult leopard geckos shed every four to eight weeks. Young geckos shed much more frequently, because they are growing rapidly

💥What is Spider Wood?

👉🏻Spider Wood is a unique type of wood used in the aquarium hobby.

👉🏻It’s called Spider Wood due to the multiple branches and it’s a characteristic unique to itself. These branches allow for fish to make a perfect hiding spot as well as a spot to put your plants.

👉🏻Your Spider Wood won’t sink immediately and it will need to be weighed down for about a week until it is fully saturated.

👉🏻Also, due to the natural tannins released, it makes for a healthy fish environment.

✅We stock a wide range of Spider Wood in our store so feel free to pop in, choose your favorite one for your aquarium✅

🌿🌿What is Black Hair Algae?🌿🌿

Also known as black brush algae, this type of algae is one of the most common algae in a planted tank. It is also one of the most difficult algae to remove in the planted tank.

It has certain damage to aquatic plants and will affect the beauty of your planted tank.

The features of black hair algae:

🌿 1. Light
The black hair algae is a kind of algae that can use almost all visible light for photosynthesis, and the photosynthesis it can perform is impossible for other aquatic plants and other plants. This is why it is easy for it to survive in any environment.

🌿 2. Nutrition
Its body contains an ammonia-fixing enzyme, which can convert the dissolved ammonia in the tank and absorb it by itself, but it has a weak ability to absorb phosphorus.

🌿 3. Reproduction
The black hair algae are mainly derived from spores-like reproduction. They usually bring in these spores when other new creatures are kept in the aquarium.
