This is so true for kids who have dyslexia. With the stress of grades, homework and standardized tests, it can be easy to forget that the most important thing for a child who has dyslexia is their mental health. While encouraging their learning, we always need to make this a priority! www.DyslexiaConnect.com

In our society, Dyslexia is too often mistaken for laziness or lack of intelligence.
A child who struggles, repeats a grade, or doesn’t grasp lessons is labelled “stupid” and ridiculed. In overcrowded classrooms, where teachers aren’t trained to spot learning differences, that child is left behind. But here’s the truth: Dyslexia has no cure, yet with early intervention and creative methods like visual learning, children can thrive. I am living proof.I have Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia. I also live with Autism and Sensory Overload. And yet, I am a teen author, a graphic designer, and a dreamer who brings ideas to life. I see the world in colour, and I can turn imagination into existence.💡 To anyone who knows a child struggling with learning disorders:
Please, don’t judge them by their spelling, handwriting, or grammar. See beyond the reversed letters and missed words. See the beautiful soul working hard in a world not designed for them.👉 Help. Don’t criticise. Encourage. Don’t ridicule.
Because with support, every child can shine.

My name is Nomcebo Ngema , an award-winning author and filmmaker, and the director of Winter Night Media Pty Ltd, a company dedicated to producing films and publishing books. I'm also the founder of the Dikeledi Thokozile Foundation, operating mainly in Katlehong, Thokoza and Vosloorus (Ekurhuleni), which empowers women aged 19–30 who dropped out of high school back to school, and supports teenage girls (14–19) through a self-esteem program called Young Woman You Are Worthy, aimed at preventing school dropouts.

My contribution to Africa is to empower young women through storytelling and mentorship, helping them realize their worth and potential.
