The story of how Treasure Beach began 🤍

In 2020, COVID brought the events and activations industry- the industry I worked in - to an almost complete standstill.

Like so many people, I was facing a huge amount of uncertainty. But somewhere in that uncertainty, an idea I had carried for a long time finally had the opportunity to take shape.

I had always wanted to start an online store.

After meeting a talented couple selling handmade shoes at a local flea market, I asked whether they would make some of my own designs. They agreed and Treasure Beach was born.

I started selling our first styles on Instagram, and within a month, the support had encouraged me to open our Shopify store.

In the beginning, I did absolutely everything myself: product development, marketing, website management, modelling, packing and sending every order. My sister and my best friend were my photographers, and we learned as we went.

Over time, we grew. We began working with another factory, introduced more styles and built a small team. Today, I have a wonderful assistant who helps me prepare and send your orders, but I still personally develop every Treasure Beach product and create all of our marketing.

Looking through these old photographs reminds me just how far we have come.

This business began during one of the most uncertain periods of my life, but it became something that has brought me so much purpose, creativity and joy.

To every person who has placed an order, shared a post, recommended Treasure Beach, sent an encouraging message or supported us in any way - thank you.

You have helped turn a small lockdown idea into a very special part of my life.
