Africa in all her glory, beauty, antiquity, culture and wildlife. It’s a feeling that is and always will be, home.

I’ve created a brand to celebrate the artists I’ve met through all our travels and bring their wears to life by creating a platform to introduce it to those who may be interested. It started with a range of beautiful, bespoke, one-of-kind, handmade bags. I still have a few left in the range which I’ll be auctioning off - so stay in touch.

Happy Spring Day!

“Chartreuse” is my descriptive word for the canola fields of the Overberg in the Western Cape this time of year. Shockingly beautiful. 💛 yellow will always be my happy color.

PS: Can’t believe something so spectacular in sight is so poisonous when the oil is extracted through the refinery process. What you see is maybe not always what you get 🤔

Happy New Year to all of you!

We’ve worked our butts off this festive season. But it’s the best type of work… creating holidays, comfortable spaces and beautiful experiences for others who needed the rejuvenation.

In between it all, we are feeding our own sense of adventure on roads less traveled. Did a quick (unexpected) 4x4 trip in the Gamka Reserve… where the first road to the viewpoint was straight up & vertical! Peter lit a cigar and cruised up the mountain like a pro 😆 seafood lunch on the beach, camping in nature with Knysna Louries and owls keeping us company, early morning coffee on the beach and having a picnic on the riverside.

We’ve also met so many awesome people, made new friends, got our teams super productive, grooved in systems and handled many curved balls.

My wish for you is…
Pursue that which sets your soul on fire.
Embrace those who make your heart smile.

Enjoyed this project so much too, in collaboration with for our all new dining tent under canvas.
It’s authentic, artistic, truly African but also bold, statement pieces with a few other thought through characteristics we needed for our application. We sourced the beads, sketched out the designs and guided the whole process, but most importantly empowered local artisans to refine and showcase their skills.

I’ve gotten quite a few of these mobile’s made in recent years for a newborn baby’s cot. Truly African. Educational and entertaining. And multi functional. It can transform into a lampshade or decor piece once the little one is walking about. If you know of someone expecting and looking for a real authentic gift, DM me to order yours.
