Hello, my name is Mike. For a long time, I struggled with an addiction to alcohol that eventually left me on the streets, with nothing but a blanket to call my own. My life began to change when I met Herman Steynberg from U-Turn. After a long three-hour walk, I arrived at 80 Bosman Street, where my journey of healing and recovery began.

Today, I am proud to be in Stage 2 of my rehabilitation, with a renewed sense of hope burning in my heart for a brighter future. I have also been given the special role of being U-Turn’s official Inspabear for the homeless and those struggling with addiction. By supporting me, you are not just helping one person—you are contributing to a cause where lives are restored, hope is rekindled, and destinies are changed forever.
