I designed & constructed some sculptural headgear & hats for Gavin Rajahs 'Couture Unleashed' collection for the recent Cape Town Met.
Gavin gave me an embroidered flower applique that he used in the collection as inspiration for the head dresses.

I hand painted the flower details onto transparent PVC with black ink, then melted & shaped them to create some interesting optical pieces.

Thank you for the very creative kick start to 2025!!

We supplied & installed a shimmering star backdrop at the Star Theatre in Cape Town for Cathys Christmas Spectacular by the fabulous Brendan Van Rhyn!
The larger 60 & 96cm stars are our 3D fold out stars, & the star strings are made up from a variety of our standard holographic stars - now available on our new online shop💫

I was commissioned by Disney Africa to create oversized tropical flowers for their 18m high Christmas tree in canal Walk shopping centre. The process included origination/prototyping/sample sets/die drawings/colour selection/ink mixing/strike offs, & overseeing the print & production run by my highly skilled and experienced manufacturing team.

The Disney Christmas tree flowers have sprung up in the Canal Walk kids summer holiday play park, making a beautiful backdrop for fun activities.. wish I was 5 again!!
