🌍 Schools Eco Challenge Update 🌍

We are so excited to share that 26 schools across the Western Cape have officially signed up for our Schools Eco Challenge! From coast to inland communities, young eco-champions are stepping up to make a difference. 💙

Even more exciting — challenge submissions have already started coming in! It has been incredible to see the creativity and enthusiasm, from beautifully designed flags to photos of cleanups in action. These learners are not only raising awareness but actively protecting their environments and inspiring those around them.

This initiative, proudly supported through a City of Cape Town grant, is all about empowering the next generation to take action for our oceans — and they are doing just that! 🌊

We can’t wait to see what the rest of the challenge brings. Keep an eye out for more updates as these amazing schools continue their journey! 🙌

Big things are happening between now and mid-August 🌍💪

We’ve just dropped our latest cleanup calendar — and it’s PACKED. 😅From local efforts to our Coast 2 Coast cleanups, we’re expanding beyond Cape Town all the way to Johannesburg and KZN. This is what collective action looks like.💪🏼

Whether you’ve joined us before or you’ve been waiting for the right moment — this is it. There are so many opportunities to get involved, make an impact, and be part of something bigger than yourself.🌍

👉 Volunteers: We need you! Every pair of hands counts, and every bag of waste removed makes a difference. Bring a friend, your family, or come solo — you’ll leave with more than you arrived with.

👉 Businesses: Want to be part of real, visible change? Partner with us. Sponsor a cleanup, support logistics, or contribute resources — and show your commitment to a cleaner, more sustainable future.

We had the absolute pleasure of spending a lovely afternoon with an inspiring cub from 1st Muizenberg Sea Scouts 🐺⚓

As part of his Leaping Wolf Challenge, he’s diving into Global Awareness—learning about real-world issues like environmental care and water conservation. 🌍💧

His journey brought him to My Green Life, where he got a behind-the-scenes look at how we’re working to make a difference, one small step at a time.

So encouraging to see young minds so passionate about protecting our planet—future changemakers in action! 🙌🌱
