I found this beautiful piece of coral on Sedgefield beach and I wanted to bring it back to life. I created the little reef fish 🐠 🐟 with hand embossed pewter, clay and touches of gold leaf.
It's finished off with a light coat of resin to preserve it.

She carries the ocean in her hair, and cares for it with all her heart ❤️.
I've worked on her for sometime, slowly shaping her to belong to the weathered driftwood she rests on.

Queen of the Veld
