CHEVONNE RUSCH MURDER TRIAL - JUDGEMENT WILL BE HANDED DOWN TODAY

The two accused, Rochelle Botha and Stefan van Niekerk will appear in the Johannesburg High Court for judgement today.

We know justice will prevail. We will keep you posted.

THE STORY

The trial of the two accused, Rochelle Botha, and Stefan van Niekerk was concluded in the Palm Ridge High Court yesterday and the judge is expected to deliver a verdict in the case on 17 November in the Johannesburg High Court.

Botha and ex-fiancé Stefan van Niekerk face charges of not only murder, but attempted murder, r**e, human trafficking, and child abuse as well.

During the trial both defendants denied having a hand in Chevonne’s death.

The court heard about the extent of the abuse and neglect of not only Chevonne, but her SIBLINGS as well.

Both Botha (accused 1) and Van Niekerk (accused 2) kept repeating they “do not know”, “cannot remember” or have no answers to the questions posed by the State Prosecutor, Advocate Riana Williams.

Van Niekerk claimed he was unaware of the wounds and injuries on Chevonne’s body and claimed she had fallen down stairs days before her death.

A total of 49 wounds, bruises, abrasions, and scars were recorded all over her body by the pathologist.

We will keep you posted of the verdict.

They don't have a clue.

Nobody has the slightest clue about the war she is going through.

They don't know about the countless battles she fights inside her head with every day that passes.

They don't know about her pillow wiping away her tears when nobody else would.

She's emotionally exhausted to the point where she feels nearly broken.

Yet she is the one who always tries the hardest to make others happy because she knows what it's like to feel completely worthless.

So she does everything in her power to make sure nobody else feels the same way.

No matter how she is treated or what life decides to throw at her, she still manages to keep a smile on her face for everyone around her.

And she shares her good heart and kindness with anyone in need.

Even though in spite of all this .... she knows she's the one who truly needs it the most.
