Thank you Netflix for an awesome preview of the One Piece Season 2 launching today! šŸŽ¬šŸ“ā€ā˜ ļø

A HUGE shout-out to all the incredible actors and actresses who were there, and a special mention to ā€œNamiā€ from The Engrave Slave! šŸŒŠšŸŠ

The whole experience was amazing — from the dĆ©cor and the props to the preview itself. The show looks fantastic, and the actors really look and behave like their anime characters.

Truly well done to everyone involved. Can’t wait to watch the new season! šŸ‘āœØ

Live in the Present. Be Present.

Whether you are walking alone, talking, listening, or doing a task you enjoy — or don’t enjoy — be fully there.

It’s in these seemingly small, everyday moments that life becomes richer. You notice more. You feel more. You’re able to do more.

Being present allows you to truly embark on an amazing journey — one that is constantly unfolding and showing up in new and wonderful ways.

✨ Slow down. Breathe. Be here now.

Spent a lovely day picnicking and enjoying family time at Silvermine Reservoir yesterday.
What struck me most was the number of people and animals all out together, each group separate, yet somehow part of one shared whole as we enjoyed the same space — in and out of the water.
Dogs dashed over our picnic blankets and circled our spot, just wanting to play. The dogs were perfectly fine… their owners slightly embarrassed. We didn’t mind at all — in fact, one particularly affectionate pup seemed to adopt one of my sons for the afternoon!
Did the day go as planned? Absolutely not. In truth, the twists and turns are what made it memorable — and in hindsight, even more enjoyable.
So often in business and in life, we plan everything down to the smallest detail. We try to control the outcome, not always allowing moments to unfold naturally. And when plans take a sharp corner or a winding road, we can choose to feel discouraged… or we can choose to embrace and enjoy the detour.
In the end, it’s the journey — and the people (and perhaps a few dogs!) we share it with — that truly count.

Walking along Jager Walk in Fish Hoek today reminded me how closely our journeys mirror Nature.

To one side, there’s a path of uneven rocks. Beyond that, seaweed and kelp shifting with the tide. Then open water — sometimes calm, sometimes turbulent. And finally, the brief sliver of sand and the mountain on the other side, waiting to be climbed… or perhaps driven around.

At every stage, the water meets its challenge. It flows around, over, under, or completely submerges what stands before it — only to continue forward into the next moment.

It doesn’t resist. It moves. It adapts. It continues.

How are you experiencing the challenges in your life right now? Are you resisting them… or flowing through them?

For me, February is the month everyone is actively preparing for the end of the yer procedures, when budgets need to checked again and the year's goals made into an action plan, happen.

Are you able to think innovatively or are you so caught up in being busy that you don't take time out to walk on the beach, watch the sky and just allow your brain to relax and enjoy a moment of fresh air?

Give yourself time to recharge, think and Be Present - you'll be suprised at the outcomes.

What an amazing sky last night — glowing oranges, golden sunlight, and soft pink-greys layered across the horizon. A rainbow before the storm. Then lightning, followed by the most welcoming, soothing rain. Today it ended with sunshine and clear blue skies again.

Each moment was beautiful to watch and experience — a reminder of the challenges that pass through our lives, both personal and business. Storms come, but they never stay forever.
It is our response to those moments that shapes the path we continue on.

Having a direction, a goal, and consciously striving to live a sustainable and meaningful life helps us move forward — stronger, clearer, and more grounded.

Sometimes, we just need to pause, look up, and remember the beauty in every stage of the journey. šŸŒˆšŸŒ¦ļø

It’s that time of the year again — making sure your business financials are ready, done, dusted, and submitted to SARS.

While compiling and comparing them to the previous year, take a moment to reflect:

Do they reflect the plans you implemented?
Can you clearly see where your business is headed?
Have you mapped out your goals for 2026?

February is the perfect time to double-check, refocus, and realign — before the year speeds ahead and the opportunities pass you by.

Your numbers tell a story — make sure it’s the one you planned for.

If you need assistance, feel free to call to meet or discuss. I'm here to help you stay on track and move forward with confidence.

What an awesome show! šŸŽ

William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night is currently playing at the Maynardville Open Air Theatre, and wow—the excitement before, during, and after the performance was absolutely infectious.

The performers each played their roles brilliantly and connected beautifully with the audience. What struck me most was how, as individuals, we each took something different away from the play, yet as a group we shared a powerful collective experience.

It got me thinking…
šŸ‘‰ How is my business being understood by the audience I’m speaking to?
šŸ‘‰ Is the message I intend to send the one that’s actually being received?
šŸ‘‰ Or is it being diverted, diluted, or misunderstood along the way?

When last did you do a quick check on how communication is flowing in your business—and how it’s shaping the way forward?
Worth reflecting on.

Oh, and if you have an evening free… go watch Twelfth Night. You won’t regret it. ✨
