On the ๐๐๐ญ๐ก ๐จ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐, the children of Soweto walked out of their classrooms and into history. They were students. Teenagers. Some were younger than that. They were afraid, and they went anyway.
Fifty years later, we remember them not just for what they did โ but for what they believed. That this country was worth fighting for. That its children deserved better. That one day, things would be different.
They were right.
Today belongs to every young South African who carries that legacy forward โ in classrooms, in communities, in the quiet, determined work of building something better than what came before.
Happy Youth Day. ๐ฟ๐ฆ
