Managed to get the peddles in the 2 door converted Humber this week. In between working on the Ferrari, yes Ferrari. Miller has come along way, hahaha. not really just some chassis mods...
Back to the Humber, you would think mounting the peddles would be one of the easier jobs but it turned into a major feat of engineering like it always seems to do with me.....

With Simola done, time to get back to the 2 door converted Humber Hawk. Seats, one of my least favourite things when building a car. It always takes waaaay too long.

Apologies for the radio silence. I managed to damage my phone again after first practice. It was an expensive weekend on phones. Other than that, it was a great event. The videos of the hill don't do it justice. I'm more than pleased with the Falcon, 5th in class, and a higher overall placing than expected. She didn't miss a beat on the way home either.

Arrived in Knysna yesterday afternoon, no dramas. The trusty Falcon never missed a beat.
The only drama was dropping my phone and having to send it in today for emergency repairs.
The Falcon sailed through scrutineering.

There is no bad angle on this car... Thanks to everyone who liked and commented on yesterday's post. Just want to add that there is no chance of winning anything or even placing. I'm there for the Simola experience, I'll be lucky if I'm not the slowest up the hill. I hope I'll be having the most fun, though...

Simola Hill Climb prep done, just a wash tomorrow. As with typical Miller Speed Shop style, no trailers will be harmed in our endeavours. We drive it there. In this case, it's a 5 1/2 - 6 hour journey, race, and drive back.
