We are manufacturers of all forms of portable advertising, which includes Flying Flags, Shaped Banners, aluminium and galvanised Flagpoles as well as other smaller products. Percy Goldman bought the business in 1945 and expanded its range of products and activities. In the 1960's Canvas Workers became the first South African manufacturer to be awarded a State Tender for National Flags which up to
that time had been imported.
1967 saw the separation of the retail and manufacturing divisions of the business - the latter under the name SPORTI PRODUCTS with Percy's sons, Adrian and Michael, as Directors. Since 1992 SPORTI PRODUCTS has specialised in flags, flagpoles, banners and portable signage and the trading name FLAG FACTORY has been used to more clearly define its activities.
