Phineas was busy repairing one of the faulty solenoids so that this block could get back onto our overnight automatic irrigation schedule.

🌳 Save the date!

The South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) and the Botanical Society of South Africa (BotSoc) are bringing the inaugural South African Tree Symposium to Kirstenbosch this September. 🌿

The symposium will bring together people from across South Africa’s tree, horticulture and conservation community to share knowledge, exchange ideas and explore the important role trees play in our landscapes and biodiversity.

From storm damage to ready for growing again. 🌱

After taking a knock during the storms in earlier months, these tunnels have been repaired, rebuilt and brought back to life.

Now they are ready for their next chapter — filled with plants and plenty of new growth. 💚🌿

It is not always the plants that steal the spotlight. 🚜🌿

The tractors are constantly on the move, transporting materials around the nursery and supporting the work that happens behind the scenes every day. It is all part of keeping Shadowlands growing.
