We've been experimenting with some Jalapeños recently and decided to grow half of the batch under and the other half of the batch outside with exposure to the elements. There are obviously many factors involved in the growing process, but it was fun to experiment anyway. It's actually amazing how differently plants from the same batch can turn out just by tweaking a couple of factors. 🌱👏

Picture one shows the indoor grown jalapeños and picture two shows the jalapeños grown outdoors. Here is what we noticed:

INDOOR JALAPEÑOS:

🌶 The indoor plants are smaller, less leafy and show a darker and more crinkled looking leaf.
🌶 They started bearing fruit a lot earlier than the outdoor plants, and have quite a few jalapeños on them.
🌶 The plants are showing off really lovely round and voluptuous jalapeños in their early stage.

OUTDOOR JALAPEÑOS:

🌶 Our outdoor jalapeños flaunt a larger, flatter and lighter green leaf.
🌶 The plants have grown to be more bushy than the indoor plants, however, they have only recently started bearing fruit and don't have as many jalapeños on them.
🌶 The actual jalapeños are a lot thinner with not much definition.
