Nazareth Care is proud to support Brick Club SA, a structured creative programme that uses Lego® bricks and play as a tool to spark imagination, sharpen focus, and build meaningful engagement. Through this partnership, we are helping to grow Brick Club SA’s activity boxes, bringing joy and therapeutic benefits to our residents and the broader community they serve.

❓What Are Lego® Bricks: They are small, colourful interlocking building blocks that have sparked creativity and imagination in children and adults for decades. More than just a toy, LEGO® bricks encourage problem-solving, fine motor skills, focus, and social connection – making it a powerful tool for cognitive stimulation and overall wellbeing.

ℹ How You Can Help: Every donation helps us assemble activity boxes that support cognitive stimulation, fine motor skills, and creative expression for those in our care. We invite our generous Friends of Nazareth to donate pre-loved LEGO® sets or loose bricks at any of our five Nazareth Houses: Cape Town, Pretoria, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Harare.

We are moving out of Cape Town and onto a farm, which is an exciting shift for us. We have been working on this for the last year but in the past month everything fell into place and quickly.

We will close the store on the 24th and we should be back by the second week of May, will keep you updated. With that change, orders will be shipped twice a week as the closest PUDO is about 35 minutes away. 🚜 📫 📦

We will also be ending combined shipping with Theo’s Bricks. We are incredibly thankful for Theo, has been great to work with, and a great friend. Theo’s support and assistance with Brick Club has meant a lot to us and his selfless dedication has made a huge impact on the organisation.

Over time we’ve opened quite a few sets to pull parts for orders, which left some builds sitting incomplete in open boxes. Instead of letting them stay that way, we’ve started gathering (new) replacement parts and rebuilding them.

We’ll be offering the builds separately, not as full sets, but parts that have never been played with. This mailbox is one of them, along with a train and a few buildings. They’re just small enough to be something special for someone who wants a finished build without needing the full boxed set.

With the hours needed to run Brick Club, and the transition from BrickLink to Brick Owl, our store shifted from over 260k parts to under 60k. Something bigger took hold of our hearts and our purpose changed.

We still genuinely enjoy engaging with our customers, and we are deeply thankful for your continued support as we focus on bringing genuine LEGO® to kids in communities for free.

We’ve come a long way, and so many of you have supported with your encouragement and support. Thank you 🙏

Learning about Jewish Seder and Passover while building a commissioned moc has been very rewarding. Something enjoyable about the process is learning more about the company or individual to reflect purpose and meaning when building.

Stores: Collection & Combined Shipping

For stores that offer collection or combined shipping with another store: Go into Advanced Settings and disable auto-selection so customers don’t assume this is a free or standard shipping option.

You can also require a phone number in this section, which helps with coordinating orders.

Set the shipping method title to something like “Combined Shipping,” choose “Other” as the carrier, and then adjust the advanced settings accordingly.
