Double cold front HERE WE GO SNOW AGAIN β
GET READY SA HERE WE GO AGAIN
CHANNEL FOR REGULAR UPDATES AS WE TRAVEL TO THE SNOW β β
So, weβve got a double cold front heading our way β two big pushes of polar icy air from the south. The first cold front is expected to hit the Cape on Sunday morning, the 22nd of June, and the second one will follow around Tuesday night, the 24th In to Wednesday the 25th . These systems could bring seriously cold conditions, and possibly even snow.
Now, for the snow lovers out there β get excited! Thereβs a decent chance of snowfall on Wednesday 25th June of June in places like Barkly East, the Southern Drakensberg, and even Ceres and other parts of the Western Cape. So if youβre into snow hunting, start getting your gear ready for around the 25th of June β thatβs when the snow could really make its appearance inland too.
The cold air is expected to move from the Cape into the interior, so places like the Karoo, parts of the Free State, and maybe even Gauteng could feel the bite β not necessarily snow everywhere, but definitely some icy conditions, frost, and chilly winds.
Farmers this could bring black frost please be ready for crops and livestock β β β
β Just keep in mind: these are early predictions, and weather charts can change β but right now, all signs point to a cold snap with snow potential. Weβll keep watching to see how it develops.
So, keep warm, stay safe, and if youβre chasing snow, this might be your week!
