This course unlike the others out there, is that we do a practical session that teaches you to use the equipment you have, we focus on the theory but believe that this will not give you the skill required to reload .
It is very much like driving a car we can talk about it in fancy presentations booklets and endless debate, if you don not drive the car you never will. (all Learner drivers know the rules of the road, the theory, they still can’t drive.
The same go’s for reloading if you do not operate the equipment you have you will never reload.
LET US SET THIS RIGHT.
You Will Need
A press. (and all its bits)
A set of dies suitable for the caliber you are loading for as per your license
A scale.
50 fired cases.
50 primers for the caliber been loaded.
50 bullets suitable for the caliber been loaded.
A valid license for the caliber been loaded.
If you have other loading equipment you can bring it with so we can assist you in the uses of this equipment.
Any increase in the price of ammunition is unwelcome to those who shoot frequently. It forces shooter to consider all possible cost saving avenues. Those who have not yet started reloading their own ammunition should think about this option. A warning though: once you start reloading, you cannot stop! It is quite addictive.
The course will comprise a theory session and a practical session were you will be tutored on the art of re-loading
The theory will take up around 2hr to 3hr.
The rest of the day will be spent on the practical side.
Reloading that is done correctly with the right components can produce ammunition that is far superior to off-the-shelf ammunition. From a shooter’s perspective this can lend invaluable benefits in the field or on the shooting range.
A course that covers the key aspects of the process offers invaluable insight to those wishing to gain a better understanding of reloading. As one of South Africa’s leading experts in the field Wayne and David will share decades of valuable experience with course attendees.
We will assist you in setting up of the equipment and guide you through the process of re-loading, you should at the end of the course be confident to take the knowledge home and start producing your own ammo safely.
LOAD YOUR OWN & SHOOT MORE
On the course you will learn the fundamentals of Internal ballistics and how these principals apply to the art of re-loading you will learn the safety aspects of loading, you will also learn how to read off the Powder Load Data Chart supplied by the propellant manufacturer.
We will discuss the law and how it affects you in regards to the aspects of re-loading.
You will be assisted practically to setup your equipment and will load the 50 x components that you bring to the cause into 50 rounds of ammunition.
You will return home with the skill and knowledge to reproduce you own ammo.
