WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE CYANOTYPE WORKSHOP??
The workshop starts at 18h00 on a Friday Evening with a introductions of the Cyanotype process followed by a dinner. Continuing the Saturday morning (Weather permitted) Cyanotype allows one to create beautiful floral Prussian blue prints
The practical workshop will introduce you to the basics of the cyanotype printmaking process discovered in 1842 using high quality paper and fabric to create your very own botanical images.
Come with your friends or kids to experience a fun and creative day!
What you'll get: Everything you need to create some lovely botanical prints to keep, hang on your wall or use your imagination and create a masterpiece for the house. The sky is the limit.! This short workshop will equip you with basic knowledge allowing you to continue cyanotype printmaking on your own. Extra chemicals are also available for purchase.
No experience is needed.
THINGS TO REMEMBER
- All materials will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own botanicals. These could be leaves or flowers you've picked up on your way to the workshop or flat objects such as pieces of lace or feathers.
- Sunhat and sunscreen
