Between 1971 and 1976 the West German Luftwaffe (Air Force) procured 263 “Phantom II”; of those 88 were RF-4 E and 175 F-4 F versions, which together equipped six Fighter, Fighter-Bomber, and Reconnaissance Wings. These wings formed the West Germans’ backbone for airborne reconnaissance, conventional ground attack, and airborne air defence.

Thanks to their mix of 1000 lb bombs, cluster munitions and cannons they could deal with any threat on the battlefield with speed and efficiency!

The Mitsubishi A6M "Zero" is one of the most infamous aircraft of World War 2, known primarily for its carrier based fighter operations, the Zero carried two 20 mm cannons, two 7.7 mm (.303 in) machine guns and up-to two 60 kg (130 lb) bombs. Some models were converted to "bakusen" (fighter-bombers) by mounting a bomb rack and 250 kg (550 lb) bomb in place of the centerline drop tank.
