WOW—TIME TO CELEBRATE THE 1-YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF A. BUCKINGHAM LITERARY! 🎉📚
I started this journey as an author with a deeply personal project: Scorched Earth. It is a thrilling, decision-based horror story that helped me express what so many veterans struggle with when battling PTSD, anxiety, depression, paranoia, and much more. I wanted a way to show that when pressured, these are the heavy decisions and fears that play through the mind, and the immense sacrifice and torment we go through when determining those next steps.
Turning this project into a published book became a genuinely therapeutic, "self-help" experience where I could transform a negative atmosphere into something deeply positive. From there, five more published works came alive in just one calendar year. We now have a full library of mystery-thrillers, adventure-romance, action, and Christian-based fiction!
I took a massive leap of faith in deciding to self-publish, ensuring the works stayed authentic and true to my original intentions, ultimately declining interest from traditional publishing companies. While these roots stayed independent, I have been absolutely delighted entering the community and sharing these stories and what they mean to me. This venture has also been an incredible opportunity to have my wife join me, truly making it a "Family Author" business and creating an atmosphere where writing is delivered with true purpose.
If you have ever purchased one of my stories, met me out at a book signing, or followed this page—THANK YOU. I never thought my life would take me in this direction, but your support and interest have made this so special that, ironically for an author, words cannot fully describe it.
