the Pittsburgh Satellite Reef exhibition has closed at the Carnegie Museum of Art
I am so grateful to have participated in this installation with so many fiber enthusiasts all around Pittsburgh! And that it was kept open and on display for a year longer than originally planned. 🌟😍🧶
If you would like to have a piece of the installation, you can go to the Museum on Saturday, January 10, 2026.
Corals will be distributed pre-packaged in little to medium to large bags and on a first come first serve basis. From 10 am - 12 pm, the claiming of a coral will be reserved for project participants and later in the afternoon our differently sized mystery grab bags will be handed out to the general public.
Each crocheted creature will come with a certificate that includes an edition number and states it was part of the Carnegie Museum of Art's artsy archipelago over the past two years.
