I recently came across this brilliant performance that the tenor horn virtuoso Gordon Higginbottom showed me. Its performed by Jimmy Shepherd playing the Cornet Solo Pandora by E Damare with the amazing JSVB band. A great lesson in dynamics ,triple tonguing and general musicianship.

This is our latest arrangement by the fabulous film composer Michel Legrand. It was written for the 1969 film "The happy ending" that starred Jean Simmonds .
The arrangement has been transcribed from Don Lusher's 1972 Lusher, Lusher and Lusher album and will be used on Brett Bakers 100th anniversary of the birth of Don Lusher in 2023 and will be performed with the JVSB legacy Band.
This piece was nominated for a bafta award but was pipped with by the famous "raindrops keep falling on your head" song.

As part of our support of the Delight Foundation of Africa, we have been working on a promising project that could help to improve the lives of children in Uganda.
We and the talented artist friend Andre, have now developed an Ocarina package that combines musical Education with art.
To help support the project we have created a Kickstarter fund which requires us to get backers in return for an Ocarina package worth £50.
If any of you think its worth £50 to further your child's (or your own) musical education and also to help desperate people in Africa then please consider backing the project.
