I’m so honored to donate two copies of my children’s book as raffle prizes for a beautiful cause. TRiO Upward Bound is a program supporting low-income, first-generation students from the Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD), and this Friday, they’re holding a raffle to help fund book awards for their graduating seniors.

As a writer, I believe stories have the power to plant seeds of hope, pride, and belonging — especially in young hearts. I hope these books remind two special children and their families just how deeply they are seen, loved, and valued.
