International Women’s Day felt like the perfect excuse for Kala and I to bring our worlds together. Kala is the founder of The Chocolate Dispensary and I’m the founder of Chocolate and the Chip, and together we hosted a special Gather & Bake filled with chocolate tasting, cookie baking, and some really great conversation.

It was a night that celebrated women building things, supporting one another, and creating spaces where people can slow down and connect. And while we were honoring women-owned businesses, the table was open to everyone (yes, the guys too), because community is always better when more people are invited in.

Guests mixed and baked cookies from scratch using our gluten-free cookie mix while tasting and baking with some of the most incredible chocolates Kala curates in her shop. Warm cookies, good chocolate, and a room full of people who came ready to create something together.

A pretty sweet way to celebrate women and the communities we’re building.

Sunday Bake Club is officially open. 💚🍪✨

This week we’re remixing our cookie mix into something that tastes like it took all day (it didn’t.) Pistachio butter by , pistachio milk by , browned knefeh, and our cookie mix. That’s it.

Dubai chocolate energy. Sunday pace.

The week will come for you soon enough. For now, preheat the oven and make some time for YOU.

🫶 Recipe below. Save it for this Sunday, or the next one, or the one after that. The club is always open.

Vegan Recipe
1 cookie mix (by yours truly 😉)
2 tbsp melted coconut oil
2 tbsp pistachio butter
4 tbsp pistachio milk
1 cup of browned knefeh for crunch

Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Mix together the melted coconut oil, pistachio butter, and pistachio milk. Gradually add in the dry cookie mix and combine until a dough forms — a hand mixer works great, but a fork gets the job done too.
Once combined, fold in an extra tablespoon or two of pistachio butter and your browned knefeh.
Chill the dough for 10–15 minutes.
Scoop and place on a non-stick baking sheet, about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
