Our heart is broken 💔
Last month we have had to give up our beloved Gizmo. Just one week after we got him he was diagnosed with FIP. We went on an intensive treatment and he was fully recovered.
Fast forward with half a year, just a few days after his first birthday and he suddenly became very sick. There were pooles of sick everywhere. We rushed him into the animal clinic and the diagnosis started. His values on the kidneys were too high. That’s when it went really fast, and before we knew it, we had to put him to sleep.
I held him in my arms as the vet performed her final treatment. I felt his heart was beating fast… until it stopped... ☹️
This was the hardest thing ever for us, we loved Gizmo so much. Our family. He will be forever in our hearts ❤️
