Just a quick hello! We have been out of town for a bit and will be back home soon. I had to laugh today.... Got the fried "chicken " for lunch.... here is the wing!!!! Pretty sure there are a couple of seagulls missing at sea this week! Do you remember the carnivals or fairs? They came in the fall when the air was getting crisp and the days short. It had a distinct smell like a cross between old grease and caramel corn , but it was good. Good times.... innocent and fun! Remember the prizes.... if you are old enough these were the most desirable things you could win....Chalk art... mostly gaudy painted banks....but boy were we proud of them.
