This is one of my favorite parts of Germantown Festival!

🏁 Calling all Dachshunds! 🏁

Applications are now being accepted for the Germantown Animal Shelter’s annual Running of the Weenies on Saturday, September 12.

Whether your pup is built for speed or more interested in stealing the spotlight, there’s a place for them in the Running of the Weenies Race or the Best Dressed Hot Dog Contest.

Event details:
📅 Saturday, September 12
🕚 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
📍 Germantown Charity Horse Show Arena, 7745 Poplar Pike

Pre-registration is required by Thursday, September 3, at 3:30 p.m. Register in person at the Germantown Animal Shelter, 7700 Southern Ave.

Race entry: $35 per dog
Costume contest: $10 per dog
